Adult Services

Cornell provides secure and community-based corrections services for adults. Comprehensive behavioral health services are fully integrated into programming offerings at Cornell’s adult secure facilities and community-based corrections centers.

Our adult secure division provides maximum, medium, minimum and low-security incarceration services to government agencies.

This division, which began in 1984, ensures public, employee and inmate safety and security by operating all facilities according to federal and state guidelines. Furthermore, we have earned accreditation for most of our facilities through the American Correctional Association, which establishes the high standards for safe, secure and efficient corrections operations.

We provide inmates with a variety of programming and services designed to assist them in returning to their communities as responsible, productive adults.

Since 1977 Cornell’s community-based corrections service line has offered government agencies an alternative to incarceration for adult men and women. The comprehensive services help the offenders and residents successfully transition back into their home communities with marketable skills.

Adult Secure Services

Cornell’s adult secure facilities have various levels of security. The safety and security of the public, staff and inmates is paramount. We maintain those through use of innovative correctional technology, electronic controls, surveillance equipment and thorough staff training.

Not only do we operate secure facilities, we can develop, design and construct adult secure facilities. We can also provide corrections systems auditing and consulting.
