Client Information
- Males and females between the ages of 11-18 with a history of delinquent behavior and/or extensive criminal charges and conduct disorder and/or substance abuse.
- Families with youth on probation and/or involved with other social service agencies.
Supervised Home Program
- Program duration is four to six months.
- Youth referred by probation officers from the Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services.
- Drug and alcohol testing, evaluation and counseling.
- School intervention, advocacy and support.
- Development of client competencies, community safety and victim issues.
- Life skills training.
- In-home intervention services.
- Mentoring and role modeling by staff and involved adults.
- Parent support groups.
- Electronic monitoring.
- Client and family advocacy for youth in court.
In-home Detention Program
- Program duration is one week to four months.
- Referral or placement by a judge, court liaison or probation officer at the hearing.
- Electronic monitoring.
- High level of face-to-face supervision.
In-home Family Program
- Program duration two to three months.
- Youth referred by probation officers from the Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services.
- Substance abuse assessment, education and counseling referral.
- Client and family advocacy.
- In-home family intervention services.
- Mentoring and role modeling by staff and involved adults.
- School advocacy and intervention.
- Development of client competencies, community safety and victim issues.
- Works with family in support of the youth.
- Liaison with other social service providers.
- Supports youth in completing court-ordered conditions.
